Multi-Purpose Hall
Billabong High International School is one of the few schools in the country which has a fully air conditioned MPH. The Hall is used for assemblies, seminars, conferences and for indoor sports too.
The School Canteen
Our school canteen, located on the roof terrace, is cool and breezy. The fantastic scenery of the ocean and the healthy snacks and meals available during the break and lunch time, makes it a popular place for children and staff to relax and chill. We also deliver meals to the classes of younger students.
Sick Bay
Our Sick Bay is cheerful and soothing place for sick children who need to lie in. We are also fully equipped to provide first aid to all minor injuries.
State of the art classrooms
Our classrooms are well lit with natural light and are spacious. Most of our classrooms have computers and projectors. Teachers use audiovisual clippings, presentations, songs and cartoons extensively in their teaching. We have sufficient multimedia projectors in addition to the interactive boards fixed in all subject resource rooms.
Library
At Billabong High International School, we have a well stocked library with interesting and informative books on a variety of subjects. We encourage children to refer to these books not only for academic purposes but also to discover the pleasure of reading in a serene atmosphere. Currently, we are also working on a digital library.
Computer Centre
At Billabong High International School we aim to develop IT savvy students. As such, we have two well-equipped Computer Laboratories furnished with enough work stations for each child to use individually during ICT classes, so that children may develop a deeper understanding of technology and how it works.
Music Room
Billabong High International School can be proud of a two well stocked music room. We have an array of music instruments and our students get personalised guidance from experienced teachers. Our facilities are one of the best in the country.
Laboratories
Our Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories are an integral part of our school infrastructure. They are well-equipped with the necessary apparatus, models, chemicals and other equipment to allow students to explore the practical dimensions of the disciplines to their fullest.
Sports
Billabong High International School is located at the distance of about a 5 minute walk away from Ekuveni (Male’ Sports Complex) and grounds, which provides sports facilities to our students. These facilities have been used by the school to great success. We offer table tennis, badminton, basketball, netball, football, cricket and swimming, for which we provide coaches and the necessary equipment.
